DESCRIPTION:Moms Demand Action is a grassroots movement of Americans fighting for public safety measures that can protect people from gun violence. \nNeighbors Together has partnered with MDA to facilitate a support group designed to provide community for people who are living with grief due to gun violence. This group is meant to be a safe place for individuals to be honest about their situation and its impact on their lives\, and provide positive role models and encouragement that it is possible to feel better. \nA few things to note: \n\nThis is a support group\, not a therapy group.\nThis is a non-judgement zone\, everyone’s healing path is different.\nAttendees are to be active listeners\, please refrain from using any cell phones\, devices etc. (Please step out of the room to take an emergency call)\n\nFor more information please contact Ada Washington at 803-258-0609
